Bio

A Cincinnati-based writer, I have 11 years' experience creating engaging online content for organizations including Procter & Gamble, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, KnowledgeWorks Foundation, and Union Institute & University. I've managed and produced content for high-volume Web site launches, created award-winning ad copy, publications, and collateral, and ghostwritten and edited books and essays for individuals.

No matter what project I'm working on, I give 100% and have a track record of producing communications that get results, whether that's writing an ad that generated $10 million for a homebuilder or a publication that positioned a local Foundation as a thought leader in statewide education reform. (See Web Content & Ad Copy.)

A specialist in professional writing with a master's degree in editing and publishing/professional writing from the University of Cincinnati, I taught for two years as assistant professor, field service for UC's Professional Writing program.

After two years of teaching and nine years in the industry, in 2008 I decided to launch my own writing business, The Golden Pen. To read more about my experience and work, see my Portfolio.
